Having Alterations done to your horsebox, who has!!!!

Have you had any alterations done to your horse box??
like cut though cab to the living area, ect ect. How much! pls

I would shop round horse box builders for a price and try and see their work before you commit, there are a lot of men who pleasure themselves in the horse box world

Have Peper Harow horse box builders poping ova for a chat, but going to shop around, but it's always good to get other peoples opinions

I would ask them about sealing the cut thru and also will you be able to tilt the cab for maintanance after, because a non tilt cab is a realy bad idea unless you want to pay a fortune for repairs... hope this helps

I would recommend you shop around carefully.
A cheep job could leave you with a leaky lorry

Ask for references from customers they have done before, to ensure you get the best possible conversion.

I have had a full living fitted in my box and partitions altered but im not sure whether thats what you mean??

Are they smaller partitions for minis? I'm trying to find out about converting/adapting/altering trailers/lorries for minis and not getting very far!

Yes my partitions are adapted for minis but i dont seem to have any pics off them after they were done

I have two partitions and they are both done so that the minis can see over them. When Inky and i stay over i leave the back ramp down and the wings open and open the box up for a stable for him. I have the partition at the end and he can see over it so i can leave him loose and he doesnt panic as he isnt shut in. They cost me about £150 each and that was using my old partitions, but they are very good and strong and telescopic.

My box is a 6.5 tonne one and it looked like this inside..

and we had a total revamp inside including full electrics, living etc..

I have adapted an ifor williams trailer in the past for minis and have pics if you want me to pm you with them???
