Hay Bar!!!

Hi Guys

I haven't posted for a while so thought I would firstly say HI!! Hope you and your four legged companions are all doing well!!

The reason I am writing is I have been thinking for along time about getting a hay bar! Finally got one last week as I just couldn't cope with anymore hay in my messy mares bed. I just wanted to say - Its brilliant!

There are, I have said it - best thing I have bought for years - almost rates as highly as my thermatex!!

Thought I would share....
 
Im going to get daddy make me one i think.. Used to feed Ted off the floor and he was spotless.. But new marey is a dirty cow and is eating out of nets (WHICH I DISPISE!) so i will have to either get one or make one. (Made a corner hay box about 5 years ago, and gave it a friend.. It was fabulous!)

All three of mine have haybars. Fab invention, saves me soooo much time and much better for the horses!

Not cheap, but worth every penny!
 
I managed to find one here in Italy!!!! OH fitted it yesterday pm in fillys box (dirty little cow that she is

). This morning her bed is hay free bit shes chewed the lip that runs over the top edge

. Ive taken pics of it and will be sending them along with a complaint to the company. Why did they not run the lip lower and flush with the inside surface??? Apart from that, its wonderful-no mess no waste

Going to go against the grain here!

I hate them!

Have them in 8 sport horse boxes & yes fab just to go along with giant barrow & throw it in, then the horses throw it out on the floor.
I am forever going in & picking it up off the floor & putting it back in!
