Hello

Can you fit hay bars/hay keepers/eezhay type things to a straight piece of the wall or do they have to be in a corner?
I don't have any suitable corners to use, but I'd like to use something like a haybar this winter as I don't want to loose as much hay in his bed.

Any ideas?

Thank you

I think you will find that hay bars need a corner as they are curved, mine are fitted in one, or you could get someone to make up a box to fit to a flat wall for your hay.

I love my bars, and Farra's one has survived two years of a clydesdale arse using it as a scratch post, albeit it has needed extra strong bolts and the top reinforement roll of plastic has now been broken but I think it will make a third year before she trashes it. Stinky being a good boy, his one still is in perfect condition, as I am sure they would be with any normal horse and not a huge itchy one.
