Hay blocks

I timed it this morning, I'm using the Fulmart feeds equi blox (high fibre) and to eat the actual block it took mine 40mins and then he had lots of hay scraps to hoover up.

His field mate was still only 2/3 of the way through his at 40mins xx

Depends on horse - mine can demolish them in around 5 minutes! They're eating machines though

I only use them if I run out of straw and have a gap before delivery as they're easy to get hold off, store and mean a bit less spent in haylage (and fewer kcals than haylage).
