Hay bricks - how to feed

Hi all

Apologies for being so dense but a friend at the yard has given me a hay brick to try and none of us have any idea if we should feed it as it is or soak it? It seems to be concentrated/compressed hay and grain. I think it is just fed as it is but dom't fancy risking it! Thanks

where i use to work we used them and we use to soak them in water for five min like we do with all feed containing dry feed etc chaff ,hi fi
