Hay everywhere!

My horse has recently been put on wood pellets and I am a little particular about his bed being clean. He always leaves a little hay overnight and when he was on straw this was never a problem as it mixed in, now it's driving me mad and it's taking me ages to pick the hay out if his bed. I would rather feed his hay loose on the floor as its better for them, any ideas to help me contain it safely?
