Hay fever in ponies

Ginger sausage had bad hay-fever today Runny eyes and nose. Does anyone have any simple remedies or recommendations? Also is there a good eye wash other than saline? Thank-you

my horse suffers from it too - i turn him out at night and bring him in during the day, when i ride i put a nose net on if the pollen is bad (he isnt too keen on it) i feed him haylage, and add global herbs pollenx & airway plus to his feeds
if it is really bad i put vaseline up his nose to trap the pollen/dust i also dab some olbas oil on his rugs and over the top of his stable door
i am going to try rubbing vic up his nose with the vaseline when i ride

NAF Respirator five star. Works a treat. Takes a week or two to be fully effective (although huge difference after a couple of days), then you wouldn't know the pony ever had hay fever. Not cheap (£36 a tub) but worth every penny.
