Right peeps. I'm totally fed up haying on ground in field..........it does make a mess and I'm concerned about clearing up all the bits come Spring! (or does it just disappear?).

Anyhow, I read a post a couple of nights ago about a plastic wayermelon crate or something!

Anyone know where I can get one and cost??

Any other ideas gratefully recieved. I don't want to use haynets tied on fence and I'm worried hay hutch being expensive and too heavy to move.

Ideas please??

The cost of those crates is greater than the cost of a large hay hutch!

I have (medium sized) hay hutches for both of mine, and can assure you they are very light and easy to move, and I say that as someone who is currently suffered from very debilitating whiplash. In fact, I'm having a few problems with my mischievous mare rolling hers around

That's pretty much the only fault I can find with them though, and I love mine!
