hay in south east

Well, you can still buy hay, it just depends on price. I'm pretty sure that Speedgate and Glovers Farm have hay in for sale. You could ring them and check what they are charging. I have two hay suppliers who are farmers, they do have some hay, but it is more expensive than this time last year and they aren't taking on any new customers because the yields were low.
 
I normally buy from farmers also, and to be honest have had no problems getting any for the last 18 months, but annoyingly I didn't have the storage to stock up too much and have left myself short. Think I will have to build another barn as this is so ridiculous every 2 months having a panick. I know Sg, fp, glovers etc have it in but at nearly 6 pounds a bale they are my last resort!!!
 
I honestly can't think of anywhere else, it's a nightmare isn't it? I've got space to store my hay for the winter, it's paying for it that's the problem!
