Hay>new forest/east dorset

Hi all.

We're having problems with sourcing hay here, either it's crap quality, stupidly expensive or non existant.

We are looking for either hay or haylage, small or big bales we don't care as long as it's good quality and delivered.

Any ideas?

sorry cant help you. can only suggest you secure your hay supply for the winter in the summer, and pay for it in the summer, as sadly winter happens every year. you will have little choice but to pay premium prices for ?quality at this time of year esp as the snow is on the floor already.

We plan to next year but we've literally just moved to the area so have'nt been able to secure any!

Have you tried Simon Butler though I don't know if he only sells by the lorry load, but he may know someone. Explain you are new to the area that may help.
