As titled, just wondered how much everyone else is getting charged for this years hay & are they charging you extra to deliver?

£3 a bale and delivery is free up to 10 miles subsequent miles cost £1 each

My supplier has run out of this years hay and is currently delivering stuff not to be used until Sept / Oct. He also supplies the zoo so has huge runs on his hay.
We are currently trying to get some of the latter stuff to store. £7 per good sized bales and no delivery charges.
they had an article in the telegraph saying how short we're going to be this winter so I think i'd buy if you find any at whatever price, even if it is scaremongering at least you'll have some.

just brought 150 bales at £5.00 collected guy said he thinks will go up to £8.00 by dec

TC Feeds in beds quoted me £7.50 a bale delivered last week!

well i went into a farm shop and there selling theirs a £5.00 , ive been offered big rounds for £35 so i think im going to buy whole lot of 150 rounds thats delivered
