I need to buy a few bales of small bale hay to keep me going until winter when they'll all get large round bale haylage. My usual supplier has run out but is speaking to someone he thinks has some and will let me know. Anybody know what the going rate is down here for bales that can be fed now?
Hes not been able to cut yet - bet we end up having massive increase in hay prices, not because theres been no grass as in the last 2 years, but because they can't cut it this year -even though there is loads!
