Hay prices

Hi - hay prices locally to us in Scotland are £30 per 4ft round bale. Is this reasonable?

I get a big rectangular bale for £60 (was £30 until last month) Not sure how that compares

Thats not bad.

I was paying £12 for a round bale, went up to £17.50, then again to £20.00 - still reasonable, farmer said its not £50!!!! but spoke to him last night and its £32.00.

well , ive just paid 23.00 for 4ft reels thats in kent

I'm a bit worried about this hay shortage. I have read reports that small bales might go up to £7 per bale
