the YO where i am cuts his own of a 4 acre and i hepled him stack the bales when the came and of the baler machine and it was a really hot day, and it was bloomin hard work!!!
 
Tell me about it! I don't think I've ever been so close to actual death!!! 400 bales onto a lorry, then off the lorry into the barn!

Stupid here thought it was sensible to wear shorts too.....took a whole month for all the scratches to heal!!!
 
..... whispers smugly "I'm so glad I picked mine up off the field last June @£2.20 a bale!". I really don't know how I would have managed with the prices that some of you are having to pay now. Mine is kept at the Local branch of Barclays in the safe in case anyone is wondering!
