Hay Prices

I had 200 delivered tonight which he helped us to unload and stack. OH and I were both struggling in the heat....these jobs get so much harder as you get old! Anyway that was £3.00 a bale. Feel tired but happy now.
 
We are having 28 round bales delivered on Saturday, and at the same price as the last couple of years, but that's only because the farmer is a good mate of OH. :p

The hay is fabulous stuff, my mare used to cough something chronic when we first got her, and we had to soak her hay, but since she's been on this hay, not a cough. :D

I have spent the last two evenings loading hay, straight off the field for £3.00 per bale. I was thrilled with that price and it's good quality hay.
