Hay- sell or transport?

Right, I have 600 bales of meadow hay in my barn and am moving 176 miles away in a few days. I need to do something with it, clearly! Does anyone have any idea how much it would cost to transport them this distance and any good haulage companies? There wouldn't be a strict time-scale so could share a load. Alternatively are there any dealers who would buy the hay in bulk? Any thoughts appreciated thanks

Haulage will be very expensive, I'd imagine it could be as much as £1 a bale

I have a friend in Bucks who uses hauliers and will ask if they know anyone but doubt that many are set up for transporting forage

Personally I would try to move at least some of it but I guess it depends on costs of forage in the area you are moving to
