Hi

Going to B & Q tonight to get everything! Would this box be suitable to drill a hole in and steam with the wallpaper steamer?

Wow, looks smart for a home made one! It wouldn't be as smart, but wonder if you could get a wheelie bin/compost bin/water butt for less £? Love the square shape with a big lid though, you could put draught excluder tape around the lid too so that all your steam stays in? One of the girls on my yard made a hay steamer, and had the plug on one of those small plug in timers, so you could have it run for an hour or so then it is ready when you want it rather than having to hang around waiting for it - I thought it was a genius idea!

I have similar garden boxes to store my rugs (brought from b&q for about £30) but I would think they aren't sealed enough to be a decent steamer. I would stick with using a wheely bin, or large dustbin
