Just wondering, how many small bales of hay can you fit in a 12 x 12 stable? Friend is selling a loose box and wondering if I could use it to store my hay?

I used to be decisive, now I'm not so sure...
I too fit 100, I have a gabled stable, it wouldn't be so easy in a flat roofed one to get them stacked!

No worries. I’m guessing about 8 years old. Always been under a barn and I’d say in good condition for age

I would expect 80 to 100 depending on bale size and how good the person stacking is. If you are thinking of buying "off the field " remember you will need to leave an air gap all round.
