Can anyone recommend a decent hay supplier around the Nuneaton area please.
We have 2 suppliers atm, 1 who's hay was originally very good but has started putting a preservative on his hay & the horses just aren't eating it, it's quite stalky and dry. The other where the hay is so nice you could almost eat it yourself, very soft and green & rich.
We try and mix the 2 types up but they just pick it out. 1 has been on box/yard rest since Aug. '09 and was recently diagnosed with laminitis, our assumption is it can only be the hay or perhaps the way the bedding was lodging in her feet (she has poor foot conformation but feet picked out twice daily so can't see it myself)
So we need a new supplier of mid quality hay! Thanks.
