Has anyone made any hay this year in your part of the world.

Yep YO has made two fields' worth, couldn't tell you how many acres worth but would guess probably about 40. Still has something like 300 acres to cut! I think they got two crops from it last summer, and I know last summer my last YO got two hay and one haylage crops out of 30 acres.

there will only be one cut this year, and it may well be haylage instead of hay

We have 5 acres but it wont be cut until July/August. We need it to stop raining

i saw a couple of fields cut just before the weather broke, ours is probably ruined now

Waiting for ours to dry out so we can cut it.

Many fields in the area look like someone has gone over them with a roller.

somebodies been playing silly buggers and twice cut our fencing into the hay meadows so the horses have been charging about in it, plus the rain has flattened it
