the smaller size, definitely. i have the big size for my lot but tbh would get the smaller size even for horses if i was going to get them again.

I would have thought a pony one, George is 16.3 and he has a horse one that still looks quite big.

Kerilli, do you find they come up really big then? Haybars are something I've been considering for quite a while now as I hate haynets with a passion and have hay monsters that pull all the hay across their stables before peeing on it - nice!

Got the pony one for my 14.2 and ample big enough. I think he could have sat in the horse one - they are huge!
Didnt get on with it as his lordship would just throw the hay all over, never did manage to get him to eat out of properly.

def the smaller size, Romeo is 17.2 and has the larger size and is fine but 15.3 charlie cant quite reach to the bottom of it!

He is 16.3 and pictured with the large one. For a 14.2 I would definatly get the small one. Infact I would get the small one for anything under say 15.3 really, as I doubt very much anything smaller could reach the bottom.
My friend has a 15.3 mare, she has the small one and can easily fit a whole slice of haylage in it and it lasts her mare all night.

I have the bigger one and have a 16hh. When I bought it I was really worried and thought that it was massive !!! However once it was put up in his stable it looked fine and fits really snuggly into the corner. He can reach the bottom fine.
