Didn't want to steal the last post and am very impressed by them. I would have got them earlier but the fatty would eat all his haylage in a hour and then stand kicking the doors/walls etc until someone takes pity on him. He also has COPD so floor feeding would be better.
I have come up with a plan, but wanted to know if those of you who have one think it would be feasible....
He currently has two small holed nets one inside the other. I have clips on the ends so that rather than tying knots I just clip them up.
Could I fix something to the wall (lowdown) behind the haybar to clip the nets to so he still has his nets, but fixed to the floor behind the haybar so he can't pull them out and tie himself up in them, but is still being fed from the floor and can't eat too quickly?
would it work...? (if I don't mind disappearing headfirst under a ton of hay into the thing everyday)
Many thanks, and hope you understood what i'm on about!
