(said in the voice of Penelope Pitstop)

I am under siege on the sofa from a mad spaniel:D

We have done big-dog grownup retrieving practice and hunting for sausages under the pots and he is still hitting me with his stuffed pheasant to try and get me to play:p

Doesn't he know what knackered on a Monday night looks like....

He's been practicing his airs above the ground to catch the flying phessie (I'm sure I shouldn't be encouraging this, but hey ho:p) and now he has decided that he will graciously sit on the sofa using my legs as a phessie-rest:D

At lest he's only spaniel sized bored, when Evie wants attention she starts by planting one large paw on your lap, and if you ignore that it tends to be followed by a second paw and most of Evie.:D

Herman Sighs when he's bored.

It doesn't sound very irritating, but trust me, it is. He does the bratty 'I'm going to be really bouncy till you give up and play with me' as well, but if you ignore that, the Sighing starts.

He begins by flopping onto his tummy and doing a HUGE sigh, with his chin on the floor and looking up at you. If that is ignored, he commandocrawls a bit closer and does the same. Ignore that and he squirms up your leg, rests his chin on your knee and Sighs while giving you the big appealing puppyeyes. Then he stands and does the same and ends by jumping on your lap to sigh deeply into your eyes. By that point it's just as easy to play with the buggering thing.

If you can recover from the dog breath that's just been blasted over you, anyway.
