it was posted a while ago about them downsizing/closing
my mum phones them up today asking about it..and also spoke to some people last night while she was out.
aparently john has just been given a HUGE![i mean HUGE!] mount of money[in the millions according to my friend who helps out there] to sort out the state the yards are in at the moment..as he wants to get it to how it used to be in the "glory days".
the downsizing/closure wont be happening for years and YEARS yet.
this for me sounds pretty good..so i can hopefully go ahead with my yard move and start doing some xc!
i'm really quite happy

so i thought i'd share!

I've heard they have an outbreak of Strangles there?

yeah..it's a frequent thing.. they lost almost all the shetlands they had bar one[maybe it was all..can't remeber]
the anual gymkhana has been cancelled because of that

but hey..better than getting strangles!

Just noticed this really old post.

I used to ride there as a kid, would be GUTTED if they closed, but they are still going (one year after this post!). Was up riding there about a year ago in doubles and it was a mess.

I know they had problems when ARC left for Oldfold but never knew things were that bad.

Any updates lplease let me know, I used to love that place. I couldn't believe it when I went there after a 10 year abscence and saw Pom still alive and well, I mean how old is she now??!
