I'm coming round to this idea. It would mean filling up every other day or maybe 2-3 days depending on what size I had and would save me loads of time and tramping across a wet field in the middle of the night on the way home from work. I have two horses, the younger one's a bit bossy and greedy but will tolerate sharing a pile of hay.
Trouble is don't know whether to get a pair of small ones or one large??
I use large, square bale haylage and they have 1-2 flaps each per day depending on weather, they only tend to waste it when it's raining so it would keep it drier too.
So what size do yolu have, how much do you stuff in it, what do you put in it and for how many horses, help please!
