Hi,
I've just seen the advert for NAF Haylage Balancer & although I've seen it many times I actually read it this time & it got me thinking.
My horses are fed haylage over winter and it doesn't seem to cause them any problems - they don't have loose droppings nor do they show any behavioural problems ( apart from the usual high jinx during the recent cold spell!).
However, could feeding bulk haylage be causing their tummies any problems that I can't see and if so is it wise to feed some sort of antacid product whilst they have haylage? Are there any others out there apart from the NAF one?
Or is it simply that the power of marketing has worked it's magic on me
