Hi all
I'm after some advice regarding my daughter's pony, we have been away from horses from around 15yrs and not been back in long.
He's out at night, fed 1 hard feed and has haylage during the day.
When in the above routine he's got good poos however come winter when he's in and has a few hrs turnout in the school his poo is so runny and I'm gathering it's because he doesn't have a belly full of grass just Haylage.
What can I do to stop him from having the runs, hay makes him cough, I know I can soak it but I'm wondering if there's anything I can give him to help and keep him on Haylage. (YO prefers Haylage)
I was looking at Dengie Meadow Lite with herbs and giving him that alongside Haylage just at a loss on what to do.
He's had Baileys Digest Plus but that doesn't work, apparently pink powder doesn't either (prev owner said)
Any help will be appreciated xx
