Haylage help please

Unfortunately I've ran out of hay and can't get anything delivered until the end of the week. Not ideal but I've had to buy a bag of haylage for the next few days.

Now I've not fed haylage for ages and its escaped me - do you feed more or less than hay? The bag says feed the same as you would hay but then on weighing it out, there's hardly anything! Surely haylage is heavier?

Usually feed more as haylage weighs heavier.

I feed by volume. Are you feeling adlib? If so, just cram the net full!

No when I was doing hay he gets it measured religiously ! He was getting 1 slice for breakfast , then 1 put out in his paddock and 4kg overnight. I've decided on 6kg of haylage for tonight, I'm hoping that's enough!
