Haylage: Round Bales

Apologies - This is in New Lounge too, but I am keen to get feedback

Just out of interest, does anyone know if it is OK to feed haylage that has been cut this yr?
We have some big bales at the yd that meet this description. Apparently the horses are only meant to have very small amounts as it is very rich.

I would want to give it at least a month after wrapping.

I wouldn't feed it at all far too early and far too rich.
