Haylage

I've just bought one of the JRT forrage bags of haylage-25kg for my 14hh pony. She weighs 404kg and she's just coming back into work at the moment she's just doing 40 mins walking roughly and about 5 mins trotting. I'm not sure how long this bale will last and how much I should feed her of haylage. I'm feeding her 1/4 scoop of pony cubes and 1/2 scoop of chaff. Please can anybody advise me?

Horses need to be fed around 2% of their bodyweight therefore your bag of haylage should last you about 3 days.

Just make sure before you feed it to her its not mouldy and white-it would be poisonous.(you probably already know that
