Haylage

I have just started using big round bale haylage. It is going to take my two at least a week to eat a bale, is it best opened up and allowed to dry or to be as kept covered as much as possible?
Hay is much easier and less stressful!

Open it completely and try and have it stored in a cool airy place. I use one every 5-6 days (big bale), and its fine.

Brilliant, thank you. It is in a dutch barn so very cool and airy, I just have to keep the chickens off it.
