My horses have all got diarrhea atm I think its probably because of the haylage I am feeding them (I have fed them haylage for months without a problem so I must just have a particularly rich bale) if I mix the haylage with a slice of wheat straw will this stop the diarrhea??
Thanks.

It will certainly help, although if they are having haylage from the same supplier it shouldn't affect them unless the bale was off I would think.

As well as mixing the haylage I would also have a think about what else maybe causing it - have you had a flush of grass because of the mild weather? I might add some mycosorb/yea-sacc/brewers yeast to their feed to settle their stomach's.

Barley would be ok, much better than wheat. Mine gets limited hay and ad lib straw. He picks at the straw once the hay as gone. If there was more hay he'd leave the straw, so just something to be aware of

Dry bran works. But it would be better to udnerstand why it happened in the first place if you can.

Don't wet the bran - has the opposite effect!
