Have to agree with Ribbons, only fed big bale once when I had 3 horses, but wasted so much of it due to various problems, funny smells, mould, heating etc it wasn't cost effective. It does go off quite quickly and must be expertly made and stored to be safe. Quickly went back to soaked hay.
