Haylege

Any advice on a runny bum? Liquid justs seems to discharge out and subsequently run down legs. This problem even happens when i give him half a net of haylege-so small amount!
Horse droppings are fine, normal & on pink powder twice a day. Has mainly hay but getting harder to get hold of livery yard owner explains.
PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS

Does the hayledge smell sweet? I wonder whether its not quite right, or it could just be very rich.

How long has he been on the haylage? My mare was a bit 'runny' for a couple of weeks when we changed from hay to haylage even though I mixed the two for a couple of weeks

Sunny always gets a bit runny on haylage. Is there a supplement out there specifically for "Haylage Bum"?

Is the haylage rather wet? None of mine have ever been 'runny' on haylage, but the haylage I've fed has always been quite dry.
