Hi spotted these on the Internet. They basically make filling haynets easier. There is a standard one at about £125 and economy version about £75. I got quite fed up last winter making up 12-15 haynets a day and thought it would be worth a try. Anyone tried them and is it worth going for the more expensive one (it looks more sturdy)? OH will buy me one if useful. Sorry not sure how to link to the site. Many thanks.

For around £6. you can put your haynet into very, very large plastic tub, drape the open ends of the net around the mouth of the tub, fill the net and you're done. I just can't get my head around the idea of spending such an exorbitant amount of money on something that still requires setting the haynet onto the pegs in order to hold the haynet open in order to fill it. I've been using the giant tub for my Shires' nets and a much smaller tub for my donkey nets for years. I'd rather spend the money on something that doesn't have a more useful, economical alternative.

And, to save wear and tear on my back, I never bend over the tub, I place the tub on a bale of hay or straw.
