We had a lovely day on Sunday at Rhos Farm Equestrian, doing Intro B and C.

Intro B was quite tense and slightly rushy, but he tried, and we got 68.5% for 3rd place.

When we went in for Intro C, everything seemed to come together. He was relaxed and flowing, and the test seemed to go really smoothly. For the first time I felt like we really "got it"! Luckily the judge saw it too, and we got our highest score to date, 75.6%, for 1st place!

Unfortunately no video, as I'm still relying on a caller and he can't do both :( But a quick photo of us afterwards, because he's so gorgeous :)

Aw thankyou! "Super horse - lovely partnership" just made my day :)

I would upload one of my older videos, but Photobucket and Youtube have gone super slow for me. Youtube says 2 1/2 hours to upload a 4 minute video :/

Super, well done. Sounds like a great day. Just a thought but could your nice caller place the camera so where lime at A or C and record, then get on with calling? It's lovely to have a caller and a video but I agree it takes a few extra hands to do that !

Thanks Bernster :)

Unfortunately we use a phone to video, and in the arena we're going to on Thursday there is nowhere safe to prop a phone in a position where it could actually record :(

However, we are friends with some of the "regulars" who are going, so it's possible someone could be bribed to film for us! Don't think my son will be home from his holiday in time.

Thankyou EC! I spend so much time reading through all our sheets and comparing marks :D

I am definitely biased, but I agree. I normally like nice plain bay hunter types, but I saw that little face on his sale advert and fell completely in love! I'd always said I didn't like coloureds or hairies... oops :D

Well done, we are looking at going there in the future. I love Patsy she's a great coach and always gives such lovely encouraging feedback on test sheets.

Well done.

I am planning some dressage with my 4 year old for the experience and I like how you can compare from each test you do.

I am also one that said "i didnt like coloured" my 4 year old is a coloured lol.

It's a fab place Templebar, and yes, Patsy is lovely! Very fair. We also got our worst ever mark from her!

Thanks Jenna, funny how what you didn't want ends up to be perfect!
