I don't get people, I really don't.
Friend said to me yesterday that her mini yorkie pup had got out of bed on Monday (12th which is a public holiday over here and everywhere closed) but couldn't support her weight, legs kept going out from underneath her, falling over etc but didn't actually pass out and asked did I know what had happened (I am not a bloody vet!)
I asked had she not taken dog to vet and she said no, but has an appointment for this morning (not heard how it went yet) I squeaked out that if my dog had been collapsing and unable to support weight I would be straight onto vet for emergency appointment. She said why the rush.
I said to her if one of the kids did something like that what would she do? To which she replied take them to A&E and I said well it's the same for the fecking dog!!

Her answer was that you don't pay NHS but would have to pay through the nose for a vet on the 12th. You don't say! If you're not willing to pay out the bloody money don't get bloody dogs! Arghhhhhhh!
