I have owned my mare for over 8 years and last winter she developed COPD, ever since then she has been more agitated during spring/summer months but this year is worse! I always ride her in the equilibrium nose net which worked great last year but doesnt seem to make much difference this year. She is out in the field all day and is wearing a fly mask with a nose net (no ears so not sure if one with ears would help). I have just brought her the Global Herbs Shake free supplement and am introducing this into her diet, has anyone had any good results with this?

My mare is so bad has been so bad this week with head shaking its preventing me from riding/lunging her as she is constantly shaking, snatching and wont ride straight or relax. Even around her stable she keeps rubbing her head, i have never had any problems with this before and know its not her being naughty/napping.
If anyone has similar experience and tried something that works I will appreicate any help to make her more comfortable?

many thanks!

At the top of this page there is a box ,search HORSE AND HOUND click on that ,when the next page comes up type head shaking in the box where it says key words , and click the search box,you will find all the head shaking threads ,and hopefully that may help you.

No personal experience but a friends horse is responding really really well to acupuncture. May be something to look into?
