Hi,
Any experience of headshaking horse head shakes when ridden but not in field would also add very sensitive to flies has to wear a net and still gets bitten. Not had long so dont know if it has previous history. When worked stops ie in trot or pushed on does not do it seems to do it in episodes not continuous. Never come across a head shaker before did not do it when i tried her out was in a a running martingale but i have been riding without one. Any experiences would be appreciated.

Firstly get your horse's teeth checked! You could also try using a nose-net (helped friends horse) from my own experience, my youngster had a bit of a head tossing habit and switching to a rubber snaffle stopped this.

A horse at the same yard as me was doing this and she has just been diagnosed with kissing spines. Maybe worth getting your horse's back checked if simple things like bits etc don't work.

If it's a pollen allergy try Gobal Herbs Pollenex. It works with one of ours. When they are working there is more blood flow, including to the lining of the nose, making it more sensitive, which is why some of them only headshake when exercising.
