My horse has always shaken her head as a way of protesting about something even leading out of the stable she will shake her head if she is not quite ready to move. I have just started riding her again after giving her the winter off and she is using her head shaking as a protest about everything! going too slowly,too fast,its getting worse and is making her very difficult to do anything with. She is doing it while trying to nap ,putting in a buck or 2.
Last summer she got alot better and would only do it when she got excited or stressed .Not sure what to do with her,any ideas??
