Head Swelling

Hi all, I am new to this Forum and I am wanting some advice on my boy please.

Over the last couple of weeks he has developed a swelling to his face, that runs horizontally between his eyes. It is solid line and not fleshy and doesn't seem to cause him any pain at all. To look at him face on you cannot really tell apart from under the corners of his eyes near his tear ducts it seems a little inflamed but when you look at him from the side it is really noticeable. Since this has occurred, one of his eyes has started to run.

I am really quite worried and I have the vet coming out but in the meantime does anyone have any suggestions what this could be?

Hi I am also new to this forum and i couldn't believe my eyes when I read your post. I also have a horse with the exact same thing. He has had a bump on his head which has gradually started getting bigger and bigger over the last few weeks. It is also not hurting him in any way. We had the vet today and he has been sedated and x-rayed and has had bloods taken. Has your boy been seen by the vet yet? I should have a full report from the vet tomorrow so will keep you posted.
