Someone mentioned these the other day and with the nights drawing in I was hoping I would be able to get more done with the horses in the evenings so I could enjoy my weekends more!

Anyway, I have had a quick look online and Argos have them for £4.99 but they are battery powered and need recharging about every 3 hours! Ideally I would prefer on which was directly rechargeable (rather than batteries that have to be recharged).

I want to spend as little as possible but at the same time I want it to work and last!

Can anyone recommend one please?

I've always used petzel - I think that's how you spell it! They have always lasted me ages and they come as LED ones too and combi - bulb and LED - which mean the batteries last for ages.

Petzel, go for the type where you can press the button to reduce the number of LEDs / brightness, which is handy for swapping between mucking out & then catching your horse.

I think mine has 4 LEDs, the more the better & it lasts forever using AAA batteries

I got the Energiser one from Tescos. It has a white and a red option and is very bright :)

I want a cap though...
