Headcollar Help?

Hey everyone, Im new here so please excuse my noobish question! :)

I've just started loaning my first horse, he is a 2yr old piebald gypsy cob gelding and I want to get him a new headcollar. I did buy him one when I first took him on a couple months ago but it was only ever meant to be a temporary one till I found something more to my taste (sounds silly I know but being a goth I like certain designs) problem is the one I want is coming from a family member out in canada and is a 'warmblood' headcollar as thats what all her horses are but I don't know if it will fit him and whether it is worth having it posted over if it turns out it wont fit him anyway!

so I was wondering if anyone knows if I could somehow alter it to fit or if it would fit ok without any alterations because it really is a beautiful headcollar and would look really nice on him! his current headcollar is a cob size which fits him fine but I want this one! lol :D

Ah I see, Thank you both for your replies now I finally understand what an Xfull is :D hmm might have to abandon that idea then :( as I doubt I can make it small enough to fit him and I don't want to ruin it in the process!! never mind the search continues! :)
 
Hi.

I can tell you now that a warmblood halter will not fit! At all.

Perhaps they can send the same style in a different size? You would want Quarter Horse or cob, that always makes me laugh, we have cob sizings here but I don't know anyone who even knows what a cob is!

enfys and Rayche thanks for the links :D the main reason I am slightly gutted is because it is a halloween themed collar so it is bright orange with little witches and cats and broomsticks with the worlds 'trick or treat' on it which being a goth and loving halloween with a passion it kind of speaks to me lol so I want something that is as unusual as the pair of us we're both perfectly matched in our oddness if that even makes sense??

plus the place she got it from for her horse did it as limited edition I think as I did ask in the beginning if she could find me a cob sized one but she couldn't and seeing the horse it was used for had to be PTS she thought it would be nice to pass it on to someone who would love and use it.

never mind found one on a website which is black with white skull and crossbones on so might plump for that one! :)
