It doesnt say why just that they were enjoying xc schooling in the sun today and lucinda was with her to the end and she went calm and peaceful.

It was reported earlier on the Horse & Country Facebook page and there is now a tribute on H&C website, reading the same as Lucinda's website.

Very sad, a fantastic little mare with springs in her hooves and a great character.

From reading the news, it looks like she must have had an accident while being ridden today - maybe a broken leg or something?

So sad, she was a cracking little mare - hopefully her offspring will continue that great line onwards.
