Headphones/ music whilst riding?

I've never thought about listening to music when riding - might do it when schooling maybe might enjoy it then think listening to music through headphones is probably a bit dangerous when out hacking though personally - we have 100s of pheasants around us part of the warning is hearing them in the hedges if I had headphones on I would never hear that and probably end up on the deck!

I only wear them if i'm in a secure space. I'd never have them in on the road - talk about death wish. If i want music on i tend to just put the stereo on in the indoor arena
