The BHS Gold membership policy now excludes swimming with horses. I can't get a clear answer from the BHS where the line is drawn between swimming and paddling, and how they'd judge it if you went to the beach and had no proof that you *didn't* go in the water. I'll be cancelling my policy as we go to the beach pretty much daily.

Edit:
UPDATED INFORMATION
It has now been clarified form BHS HQ that the insurance exemption for Swimming with horses is ONLY applicable to Hydrotherapy centres.

I am thinking of leaving it too. I don’t have a horse to ride and they basically exclude most mini things I do (carriage etc) and I just need some rider insurance to cover me to ride friends horses.
