Heads Up... Lidl has horse stuff!

Saddle clothes are lovely, I got a brown one last time round and I think it's great. My riding school uses them all too, not too thick and decent size! He's now got another brown one and blue, just for variety :D I spent £40 and got summer sheet, cooler, gaiters, bandages, 2 lunges lines and 2 saddle pads. Now that is a bloomin' bargain when you consider £40 would usually only buy one rug!

Now I need them to do some nice Jodphurs again... :D
 
My dad bought be 2 lunge lines, 2 sets of black bandages (the type I love, half fleece, half stretchy) 2 brown saddle cloths and a mesh sheet (I already have one!).

I think the saddle cloths looks very nice and should look smart on my bay mare.

Your horse certainly doesn't care if it's wearing a numnah made by Stubben or made by a random bod in Switzerland. As long as it's comfy, who the hell cares?

How I loathe and detest this snobbery that seems to be abound these days. People should be grateful that they CAN save a few pennies here and there. It's not penny pinching, it's being sensible.

Is it any cheaper than Decathlon (Fouganza) though? There's only kids' boots by the time I get down there and the price is comparable to Decathlon.

But a Decathlon offer........now that phwoarrrrrrr! :D
 
I really went mad and (as well as all the horse stuff) got a small step (mounting block) & small stepladder for reaching the stable guttering to clean it out! Bargain!
 
I spent a whole £33!!! I got 2 sets of travel boots, 2 summer sheets and 2 mesh rugs! All in the 'right' matchy colours!! The quality is far better than I expected.....very happy!
 
the lidl in gillingham(dorset) still had loads left at lunchtime, got 4 lunge reins(they have a habit of getting lost here), 2 saddle cloths, 2 fly/cooler rugs,bandages and a fleece :D
 
I'm gutted!! I rode this morning then drove there before work and I was there by 9am, all the saddleclothes and lunge reins had gone and the majority of the rugs :( I managed to get the last two sets of bandages and the last 'fly' sheet...it better fit! Really wanted to get some saddleclothes but someone beat me :( they should do them all year round and keep us all happy :)
