Has anyone any ideas on how to cure headshaking ..
My pony started out of the blue after 10 years and for 8 weeks it has been horrendous...
I have tried everything...
1.vets - hospital 1 week - did not show symptoms but came back the day he returned :(
2. homeopathy - didn't work
3. more homeopathy from another practitioner - still didn't work
4. radionics - didn't work
5. american face mask - didn't work
6. antihistamines from the vet - didnt work
7. antihistamines human - didn't work
8 . chiropractor - didn't work
9. Naf headshaking formular - didn't work
10.changing environment - some results

whilst being ridden he snorts, rubs his face on the ground , twitches, jumps in the air, listlessly stands without moving as if drugged, pushes his nose into other horses tail., leaps in the air ..but in field is happy and normal

it is driving me crazy!!! poor pony - i love him so much ...

You mentioned a face mask, did the mask incorporate a nose net? If not it's worth a try. Completely solves my horses seasonal head shaking.
