There does just come a point where you have to trust the professionals. You'll turn yourself inside out trying to think of things you could have or should have checked. Everyone will have a view on what you should do - that's horses for you. The situation sounds truly horrible and my heart goes out to you. Just trust that you are doing everything you can.

This is how I'm feeling at the moment Shady, a magic wand would be so useful at the moment! No news so far today so I'm taking that as a good sign.

My horse is currently in veterinary hospital about to undergo PENS therapy!
Fingers crossed for a good result

My boy has completed three lots of PENS therapy which he tolerated well. He is off all sedation and steroids and slowly being weaned off gabapentin. He has resumed ridden work and all is well so far. I am well aware that we are no means in the clear and it could restart but he is happy in himself so far. I am now keeping everything firmly crossed that the insurance company pays up as I am well over the vets fees limit already so could do with their contribution!
