Horse has been too well behaved recently! Still happy to canter but lack of oomph & none of her usual bouncing when out ridden. Still the first one to meet me at the gate for breakfast etc
Vet came yesterday & couldn't see anything obvious wrong - I had to talk him into bloods. Results have come back as low reds, slightly high whites & high protein & globulin. Vet doesn't want to speculate at the mo & is sending bloods off for a full screwing - particularly looking at if the reds are regenerating or non regenerating.
My head was in a bit of a spin listening & he said there could be so many causes that wait for blood results & try not to worry!
